Directions

Lincoln Theater is located behind 158 Main street above Maine Coast Book Shop with our two entrances at the rear of building.
We encourage you to park across the street in the main town lot and walk over, particularly during matinees, so as to not take up spaces in the Elm Street Plaza for patrons of those businesses.  Handicap parking, our main entrance, box-office & elevator are all at the rear of the building on Elm Street.

From the South

Follow Route 1 North and take the exit for Damariscotta/Pemaquid Peninsula.
Continue on Business Route 1, bearing right at the brick – Second Congregational Church, towards downtown.

For Parking:
We encourage you to park in the main town lot with entrances on the opposite side of Main Street.
From Business Route 1, turn right into the main town lot immediately after passing Riverside Butcher Co. on your right.

To the theater:
After passing the Colby & Gale gas station on the right, immediately turn left at Reny’s/King Eider’s pub onto Elm Street.
Bearing right on Elm St., you will see the rear of Lincoln Theater ahead of you.
Theater Street, on the right before the theater building, is one-way back to Main Street.
Our entrance and box office are located in the rear of the building. 

From the North

Follow Route 1 South and take the exit for Damariscotta/Business Route 1.
Continue through two traffic lights to reach the center of town.
The theater is located above Maine Coast Book Shop, which will be on your right.

For Parking:
We encourage you to park in the main town lot with entrances on the opposite side of Main Street.
From Business Route 1, turn left onto Water St. after the First National Bank on your left as you come down the hill into downtown. From Water St. turn right just before the Savory Maine restaurant and drive down the small hill, past the 20 min. post office parking, into the main town lot.

To the theater:
Pass theater street (which is one-way) and immediately turn right just before Reny’s/King Eider’s pub, onto Elm Street.
Bearing right on Elm you will see the rear of Lincoln Theater ahead of you.
Theater Street, on the right before the theater building, is one-way back to Main Street.
Our entrance and box office are located in the rear of the building.

Availability of parking in downtown Damariscotta fluctuates throughout the year, with ample spaces available during the winter months. We encourage you to park across the street in the main town lot and walk over, so as to not take up spaces in the Elm Street Plaza for patrons of those businesses.
