Lincoln Theater is pleased to welcome Korinn Mowrey for a live presentation of “A Dancer’s Journey to Live!” Through storytelling & dance, Korinn shares her life experiences – showing us how we ALL have the magic within us to overcome our addictions and be successful in achieving our dreams!
A creation by regional Midcoast community member Korinn Mowrey, “A Dancer’s Journey to Live!” is a new performance about the art of manifestation through the power of intention. As a motivational performer, Korinn takes the audience through her journey as a successful professional dancer and her experience in battling the addiction of anorexia nervosa while trying to lead a life full of love and laughter. Through speech, dance, some humor, and little glimpses of jaw-dropping, romance-entwined plots–such as a most memorable one with our character stuck hanging from the rigging of a tall ship- Korinn shares her journey of overcoming this addiction. She explains that in learning about the power of intention and in consuming nutrient-rich whole food, everyone can succeed and thrive and even enjoy chasing after dreams long forgotten.
This show will empower, uplift, and teach others that no matter what struggles, addictions, or past ghosts may haunt us, we all have the power to succeed!
