This is a FREE event. No tickets or reservations are required to attend.
What better way to celebrate school vacation than a trip to the movies! Join us for a free screening of The Lego Movie. And for the second year, Skidompha Library is creating a large-scale art installation to be hung on the outside of the library – a big part of which is for people to color in the large scale canvases. The canvases will be set up at the theater for you to color! Doors open for coloring at 1pm.
Emmet (Chris Pratt), an ordinary LEGO figurine who always follows the rules, is mistakenly identified as the Special — an extraordinary being and the key to saving the world. He finds himself drafted into a fellowship of strangers who are on a mission to stop an evil tyrant’s (Will Ferrell) plans to conquer the world. Unfortunately for Emmet, he is hopelessly — and hilariously — unprepared for such a task, but he’ll give it his all nonetheless.
