Chicas Al Aqua
Directed by Liz McGregor (Newcastle, ME) – In attendance
You can count the number of female paddlers in Futaleufú, Chile on one hand and they want to change that. After many riverside matés and floating conversations, the idea to create a kayak course for local teenage girls was hatched.

Maine’s First Ship

Through the voices of our volunteers and committed community, this documentary tells thee tale of the nearly forgotten history of the Popham Colony and the mission to build a historical boat.

A story of two friends in midcoast Maine who enjoy mountain biking and filming.

Residents on an island in Down-east Maine reflect a year after their community nursing home was forced to close.

Farm on the River

Get an intimate look at a family-owned oyster farm on the coast of Maine, and how backbreaking work for some is a freeing experience for others.

Called to Lead

Brenda Commander is the first woman chief of the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians and was called to lead after the tribe was granted sovereignty in 1980.

A visual telling of a day in the life of a maple syrup farmer.
