Following the economic collapse of a company town in rural Nevada, Fern (Frances McDormand) packs her van and sets off on the road exploring a life outside of conventional society as a modern-day nomad. The third feature film from director Chloé Zhao, NOMADLAND features real nomads Linda May, Swankie and Bob Wells as Fern’s mentors and comrades in her exploration through the vast landscape of the American West. Winner of 2  Golden Globes, including Best Motion Picture – Drama and Best Director – Motion Picture. Director Chloé Zhao, became the first woman to receive a Globe for directing in 37 years (since Barbra Streisand in 1984 for “Yentl”) and the first Asian-American woman ever to win. Nominated for 6 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actress in a Leading Role, and Best Cinematography.   Running Time: 1 hour, 48 minutes
