Peter Brown, author of “The Wild Robot” will be giving a pre-screening presentation beginning at 1pm on Sat Nov 2. There will be free copies of the book, all signed by Peter, for everyone who attends the free screening.
The epic adventure follows the journey of a robot–ROZZUM unit 7134, “Roz” for short — that is shipwrecked on an uninhabited island and must learn to adapt to the harsh surroundings, gradually building relationships with the animals on the island and becoming the adoptive parent of an orphaned gosling.
Running time: 1 hour, 42 minutes
This is a free event. No tickets are required to attend. Doors open at 12:30pm, General Admission, no reservations.
Peter Brown writes and illustrates books for children. His picture books include The Curious Garden, Children Make Terrible Pets, and Mr. Tiger Goes Wild.
